Finish brainteaser and class introductions/biographies from last week
Begin autobiography (handout): follow the writing process and write about yourself. Due Friday, Sept. 3rd this week
Literature books distributed: please keep at home to use there. You do not need to bring them to class each day!

Tuesday:
Class notes: short stories. Please email me if you are absent and need the notes!
Class work time on autobiographies

Wednesday:
Writing opener: If you could wish for any three things, what would they be and why?
Read "The Monkey's Paw" (handout). Take notes while reading on who, what, where, when, why

Thursday:
Finish "Monkey's Paw"

Friday:
Classroom Bingo
Autobiographies due

Complete worksheet comparing two stories

Thursday:
Finish "World on Turtles Back" and activities/worksheet
Go over Autobiographies

Friday:
Classroom Bingo
Autobiographies due
